Job Summary
This position is responsible for managing the Human Resources function in the US, providing professional consultancy and services to make sure of the successful execution of HR strategy and help with business development, including operational activities and projects across recruitment, performance management/development, and compensation as well as office wide initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
HR Advisory
·          Act as an HR expert advisor with regard to all people related concerns as well as policy. Represent the people side of issues in general management discussions.
·          Develop HR initiatives for the US office in line with business priorities. Ensure legal compliance in all employment issues and actions.
·          Offer expert HR guidance to managers in the following areas: compensation and rewards, employee relations, career planning, performance management, coaching, and learning and development.
·          Develop local culture to ensure we have positive work environment building on Bitmain values.
Recruitment and Staffing
·       US team set up, including engineering and operation positions. Manage office resourcing and fulfil job openings with good quality and high efficiency.
·       Take hands on recruitment work include but not limit to expand recruitment channels, CV screen, interview arrangement, offer discussion and etc.
·       Actively take part in and facilitate local hiring and onboarding processes.
·       Be responsible for New Employee Orientation.
·       Manage the Graduate Recruitment Program if in place, working with regional colleagues to develop and maintain a best-in-class program.
Compensation and Benefits
·       Oversee and manage payroll processes for the US office.
·       Maintain benefits portfolio to ensure that the US office remains competitive within the local market, and offers compensation and benefits that are aligned with the global benefits philosophy.
·       Be familiar with US C&B market.
Performance\Training\Culture Development
·       Lead and guide performance management processes, providing advice to partners and managers on disciplinary matters and development plans.
·       Drive and oversee annual and mid-year appraisal processes including providing support as required (i.e. training).
·       Define and manage types of training schedule and advise employees on development as required.
·       Provide trainings or actives related to building company culture and values.
Skills & Experience
·       Bachelor Degree or above with at least 5 years' experience working in a similar role in a global firm, ideally running the HR function for an initial office.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor and safety laws as well as employee regulations.
  • Excellent ability to understand new business.
·       A quick learner, creative and a good team worker.
·       A global perspective and the ability to work in a diverse team.
·       Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
·       Be willing to work in a start-up company and have good ability to work under pressure.
·       Business partner experience preferred with R&D team in IC\Chipset\Internet industry.
  • With start-up experience is a plus.
·       An excellent command of written and spoken Mandarin is preferred.
